Rebecca Mitchell - OSTEOPATH Rebecca's enthusiasm for working at Gold Coast Holistic Health relates to the 'family practice' feel that exists here. All ages come, from seniors to babies, and people from all walks of life - sports, school, managerial, trades. Rebecca loves applying her knowledge and skills in this broad variety of situations, and has a particular passion for treating women. She is especially interested in the changes that occur in the body during and after pregnancy and the way in which Osteopathy can support these changes. Rebecca’s gentle approach includes an extensive range of Osteopathic techniques that are aimed at relieving stressors and strains in the body’s joints and muscles. There is no single approach that suits everyone, so she tailors each treatment individually for each person. Many of Tamsyn’s treatments are purely osteopathic—ensuring that the musculo-skeletal system functions to the best of its ability. She uses a broad range of techniques that range from deep tissue massage, joint articulation and manipulation, to more gentle soft tissue unwinding methods. Her treatments are tailored to best suit the needs of the individual. She is trained in advanced Pilates, and is able to prescribe valuable home-based exercises. |
