GC Osteopathy At GC Osteopathy you can come to us for an appointment via a number of Government sponsored schemes.
You can ask for a GPManagement Plan from your doctor (GPMP). Your GP will give you up to 5 sessions per year with an Osteopath. Medicare will contribute towards the fee (approximately $56.00) and you will have a Gap to pay. To access a GPMP you must visit your GP before booking with GC Osteopathy. Your GP will give you the necessary paperwork or he/she will fax it directly to us. There are certain criteria that your doctor will apply before deciding if you can have a GPMP.
If you hold a DVA card (Gold or White), you can access appointments at GC Osteopathy. Your sessions are paid for in full by the DVA. You need to visit your GP and obtain a referral to GC Osteopathy. You will be given as many as 12 sessions per referral.
If you are making a claim under WorkCover (for an injury or other work related incident), you may be able to book a number of Osteopathic appointments at GC Osteopathy. First, you must visit your GP and ask for a referral to GC Osteopathy. If you are granted a number of sessions under Workcover, these will be paid in full by Workcover.
